Why does my hot plate cause an alarm sound?

Everytime the controller detects a defect in the electric circuitry, the entire unit will shut down and the alarm is set on, indicated by a blinking LED light and an alarm sound. The unit’s display will show an error code

One or more plugs of the temperature sensor have been pulled while the stirrer was still running

Connect the temperature sensor back to the main unit. If it doesn’t work, the temperature sensor or its connection cable might be damaged

Temperature Sensor has caused a short-circuit
