Do I need to set temperature and stirring speed every time before using my stirrer / hot plate?

Wiggens stirrer / hot plates will remember the temperature and stirring speed which have been set at the last operation. Thus, it is possible to conveniently repeat experiments without the nuisance of having to set temperature and stirring speed each time.
